CLUTCH is the product of more than a decade of forward thinking, evolution, transformation.
We got our start in 2008 by David Sutta who envisioned turning a photography hobby into a small business. We serviced portrait, wedding, and an occasional corporate client. The company distinguished itself in the competitive marketplace by not only delivering great work but guaranteeing great experiences. We were first to adopt pro-consumer policies and pricing. We also looked at talent in the marketplace not as competitors but as potential freelance partners.
Within a few years the company evolved into video work. This may have been inevitable given David’s vast experience in broadcast television as an Emmy award winning storyteller. Under his leadership our client base expanded significantly to include some notable companies. The team won several Emmy and Telly honors for commercial content. Seasonal work became year round work. Single one off projects became partnerships.
To meet increasing demand, many of our talented freelancers became employees. Eventually it became clear the company was truly no longer David Sutta Photography. We still did photography but 80% of our work was video production. Furthermore this was not the work of David Sutta but rather a collective of talented artists. In 2018 the company repositioned resources to better serve the growing demands of corporate clients. In 2020 we underwent a branding change to better reflect our collective team.
Our team is made up of some of the greatest people on earth who happen to be talented too. We are strong believers that our people are the difference between mundane and awesome content. If you are committed to learning, supporting, and helping those around you we want to hear from you.
Our structured 12 to 18 week internship opportunity program is our way of looking toward the future. We want to help the next generation of storytellers and content creators realize their dreams. There is no better way to do this than with a hands on experience. The CLUTCH Intern program allows you to work closely with studio managers, producers, videographers, photographers, and editors to learn all aspects of production. Our goal is to give you exposure in all areas to see what suits your interest and talents best.

If you have an unlimited download plan you can download any image you wish from anywhere in the world.
To download an image first select it it, then click on the download icon (arrow pointing down) on the lower right hand of the picture. Your download should start immediately.
To download more images simply repeat the aforementioned process.
You can download the entire gallery via zip file by clicking the download icon at the top of the page (upper right, next to buy photos). You will be asked to enter in your email address. Within a few minutes you will receive an email with links to zip files of your photos.
Please keep in mind that galleries with a lot of images will take longer to download due to their size.
CLUTCH has partnered with the leading professional printer in the US… Bay Photo. To order prints simply select the photo you desire and click “BUY”. A box will pop up providing you prints sizes and options. All orders go directly to the printer to expedite the process. Photos are usually shipped directly to your door within 5 days or sooner depending on which shipping service you selected.
We provide you access 24/7 to your photos via our client website. You can access your photos at www.photos.davidsuttaphotography.com/business. Photo storage is guaranteed for a minimum of one year after your event.
We deliver our videos in a variety of formats. We keep a copy for our records. Often we try to keep a copy on Vimeo as well. You can search our Vimeo site here: https://vimeo.com/davidsuttaphotography To download your video from Vimeo just click download (below the video). You will be given a variety of formats to meet your needs. If you cannot find your video please contact us for help.
CLUTCH provides a fantastic App for our clients to download, carry, and share their images. What does your APP do? You can download your photos right to your phone and tablet. Once downloaded you can view photos without a connection to the internet.
How do I install the APP? (FOR IPHONE AND IPAD)
Go to the Apple App store and download the Smugmug App
Open the App. Select Find People
Enter “DavidSuttaPhotography” into the search box and select it.
Find your photos. We sort all our shoots based on type, then date.
Select a gallery you wish to view.
The star (upper left) will add this gallery to your favorites, so you will have the gallery saved on the app homepage. You can do this for all your galleries.
You can save the entire gallery to your device by swiping the “Available offline” button. By selecting this anytime you open the app, even without an internet connection, you will be able to view all your photos instantly. Due to the large size of some galleries we advise you to use WiFi when saving galleries.
You can press the options button to send a message, email, save a specific photo, and post to social media.
FYI 1,000 photos consumes about 300mb on your device.
